Prayer sets the direction for the day and lines up the day with God’s interests, God’s will and God’s purposes. Consider the verse in
Psalms 88:13 But to You I have cried out, O LORD, And in the morning my prayer comes before You. Morning time is the best time to get started with God.
It is also the time to connect with God. Before the day gets going, the worries come, stresses come, the emails come, the phone calls come and then the other 1000 things that fill a day. Take time in the morning to connect and contact God the source of our life and our strength. He is the one to help us through.
