“In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:14). Redemption simply means “set free.” We have been set free by precious blood of Jesus Christ. We have the right to stand against every accusation and say, “I don’t believe that, devil. You’ve accused me for the last time. My Bible says I’m redeemed because I believe in what Jesus did for me on the cross. I confess my sins to Him and I am redeemed — free!” Declaration: “By my faith in the blood of Jesus, I receive the righteousness of Christ. He has made me fit and qualified to worship and serve my Lord!”
Psalm 146:3 ‘Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.’ Sometimes we put our trust in the wrong places. The Lord is the only One who can truly save us. Let us not be distracted by other sources of help’.The Lord is the source of our needs and we must look to Him with expectation. PRAYER: Lord, forgive me for thinking that other people can solve my problems when You are the only One to whom I can really turn. I place my trust and confidence in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
“You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God” (Isaiah 62:3) If there has been a time when people looked down on you, I have good news for you, God sees you as a crown of splendor in His hand. He will honor you, for the Lord delights in you. God says, “You are precious and honored in My sight” (Isaiah 43:4). Today, shake off the dust of unreasonable criticism, low self-esteem and fear of failure and lift up your head, you don’t have to be bowed down anymore. You are purchased by the blood of Christ, you are the child of the living God, loved and honored by Him.
1 Peter 2:9 ‘But you are a chosen people…’ – You have been chosen by God Himself and His hand is on you. – You have been chosen by God to fulfil a special purpose and plan. – You are not here by accident or by fate. – You are here for such a time as this and the Master needs you.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You have a plan and purpose for my life. You have chosen and hand-picked me to do what You have prepared for me to do. Help me to fulfil the purpose You have for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you. Deuteronomy 31:8
– The Lord knows the situations that come your way. – He’s making a way for you. – He is already placing what you will need in your future. – Nothing catches God by surprise, He knows and His plan is a ‘great deliverance’.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You Yourself go before me and You will be with me. You will never leave me nor forsake me and You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven … by which we must be saved. — Acts 4:12
A single route to salvation may sound arrogant to many in our world today. The assertion “Christ alone,” can provoke scorn- How arrogant! How narrow-minded!
But we who have new life in Christ alone know that arrogance plays no part in this. It’s all about humility, recognizing that we can do nothing to save ourselves. We depend totally on Christ for salvation. Salvation through Christ alone is not about religious superiority but about our utter inability to solve our sin problem without Jesus. He is the only one by which we can be saved.
God’s children walk the pathway filled with trials and heartaches. God’s faithful ones are those who know that no matter how tough the challenge, their God is stronger and would not leave His own. Whatever you are going through today, God sees you. Not in some impersonal way but up close… And if you are in pain or agony, your cry rings in God’s ears. He knows what your pain feels like. He feels it, too. And at the perfect moment He will arrive to rescue you. He’s promised!
Meanwhile, He is transforming you, strengthening you, purging you and beautifying you into His own image.
…we are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18
“God helps those who help themselves.” People think that this saying comes from the Bible. It doesn’t. No, God helps the helpless! Maybe, you have been in this predicament for far too long and nobody seems to come to your aid. When God leads you to a tight spot where there is no way of escape, we think it is some kind of punishment for our sins. The Israelites thought that God took them to the shores of the Red Sea to surrender them into the hands of the Pharaoh. On the contrary, there was a great miracle waiting to happen. All they had to do was “Stand still and see the deliverance the Lord was going to bring.” (Exodus 14:13). So, child of God, if you feel helpless, don’t be afraid, be still, God has already planned your deliverance.
God never abandons His children. In times of danger and distress, He spreads His wings of protection and comfort over us. Under the shadow of His wings, we don’t need to fear the difficult circumstances of life. Storms may rage around us, but we are safe under the canopy of His constant care. The psalmist assures us, “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.” (Psalm 91:4) If you are going through painful times, take refuge under His wings. Take comfort in the fact that God’s protection is spread over you. Nothing can touch your life without His permission. Nothing can threaten when He is your Protector.
