1 Peter 5
1 Peter 5
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will bring it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ:”
God brought Joseph up, out of the pit and took him straight from the prison to the palace, second in power only to the Pharaoh!
Was Joseph qualified?Joseph could have wallowed in his disappointments, everyone has that choice, but realize this….there is no disappointment God cannot turn into an appointment. God has so much in store for you.
You’re a work in progress! You’re a miracle in the making!
When people look at you they may not see a finished product, but the good news is when God looks at you He sees a masterpiece.
Please read Psalm 23 What a beautiful Psalm!
As you begin a new month, ponder this verse.
“So why would I fear the future? For I’m being pursued only by Your goodness and unfailing love. Then afterwards— when my life is through, I’ll return to Your glorious presence to be forever with You!” Psalm 23:6
When you make the Lord your shepherd, you will experience His presence, His provision, His protection and His guidance all the days of your life. How comforting to know who our God is! Why my soul are you downcast? Doesn’t your Shepherd know what you need? Rest in His promises and be at peace.
“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight” (Luke 12:6).
The Almighty God who keeps the planets in their orbits is aware of a lowly sparrow that falls to the ground.
Are you anxious? Fretful? Fearful? If the Lord takes such tender care of every bird He ever created, would He not care much more for His children.
As for your value, Jesus died on the Cross to save you from sin and eternal separation from God. He died to make you His very own.
You can rest knowing God’s caring eye is watching over you.
The One who bore all the sins of the world is able to bear “all your cares”.
We are given the glorious promise that Jesus loves us and cares for us. He is personally involved in the lives of His children.
Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. Oh how wonderful it is to know that our Lord wants to hear us. And He wants us to talk to Him about the things that bother us.
Trust Him. Take the Saviour at His Word. He means what He says; for He cares for you in a way that you cannot begin to imagine.
What’s concerning you today? Is there a situation that you’re apprehensive about? If so, you can place your worries in God’s great hands.
The Lord gently holds us. We have to worry, wonder, or fear the future. He hears our prayers and knows the concerns of our hearts.
Beloved, if your heavenly Father cares for the birds, and feeds them every day, how much more will He care for you, His dear, precious child! Let your heart be at rest as you hear Him say to you, “Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 6:26
