The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” Romans 8:15 Have you been fearful of what is happening around you? Fear is one of satan’s tools to send us running from our purposed lives, goals, and dreams.  If the enemy can convince us to fear the journey ahead (fear of the unknown), we will invariably start doubting God’s promises and will not be able to move forward in the path God has set for us.  Instead, we will become locked up in a lonely prison of fear. You are a child of God and no longer a slave to fear. You have been released from the prison of fear and freed to trust Jesus. Fear wants you back in bondage, but God’s love sets you free. Cry Abba Father, and fear not!

EXODUS 12:7,13  And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. The Egyptians had no protection from the destroyer, but the people of Israel who put the blood of a lamb on their dwellings were safe. The blood represented the Blood of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world – Jesus Christ (Revelation 13:8)..The blood applied stopped the destroyer.  With blood on the door of the Israelites in Egypt, no evil dared enter their dwelling. Christ is our Passover Lamb.  Likewise, we are kept safe through the protection of the divine Blood of Jesus. 1 CORINTHIANS 5:7 For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

Psalm 34:5
‘Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.’
There is something different about people who are trusting the Lord. As we trust in Him, something about the way we look changes. There is peace and joy instead of despair and hopelessness. That’s because we don’t look at our circumstances, but look to Him in every situation.
PRAYER: Lord, I lift up my eyes, above the troubles that are around me, and I look to You. You are my hope, You are my salvation and You are the One Who comes and lifts up my head. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

God promised the prophet Zechariah that in the last days, He would be a protective wall of fire around His people. ( Zechariah 2:5). Likewise, Isaiah testifies: “There shall be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain” (Isaiah 4:6). These promises are meant to comfort us before a great storm comes in the final days. Indeed, Jesus says this coming storm will be so frightful that people’s hearts will fail them as they see it developing (see Luke 21:26).Now, if Jesus says this storm is going to be ferocious,  we can be sure it will be, but How do we remain calm in troubling times?  I saw the Lord always before my face, for He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken”  ( Acts 2:25).And the only way to do that is to spend time in the father’s presence, beholding His face. We have to be on our knees.

Psalm 63:7
‘For You are my help; I will sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings.’The Lord is your Helper and your Guide. You have reason to rejoice and be glad, because He is with you. The Lord has helped you thus far, so be confident about the future. In a world that is full of uncertainty, rest securely and joyfully under the shelter of the Most High. He is able to carry you through.
PRAYER: Lord, truly You are my help. I still believe and trust in Your plans and I place my heart in Your hands. You are all I need, and all of my trust is in You, my Faithful Friend. In Jesus’ Name,  Amen.

Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Throughout the bible we can see God’s people were in fear time and again, especially when it was time for battle with their enemies.Regardless of where the opportunity of fear presents itself to you today, the Word of God declares to you, “fear not”! Why? God is with you, therefore you have no reason to be dismayed for the Lord your God promises to not only strengthen you but to help you and uphold you with His righteous right hand. God promises to help. The question is, “Will you trust Him and will you take Him at His Word?”

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 Are you dealing with fears that make you feel helpless and hopeless? Fear is one of the greatest weapons satan uses against us, as it attacks our minds. He tells us everything that is contrary to the word of God. How can we fight against such thoughts? By believing the truth of the second part of the verse. God through His Holy Spirit has given us power, love and a sound mind, not in our strength but in His. Lord, teach me to live a victorious life through the empowering love and strength of Your Holy Spirit. Break those strongholds of fear that bind me up and keep me from experiencing the peace and joy that You desire for me. In Jesus’ name I ask, Amen.

All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:16) Isn’t it comforting to know that God knew each one of us long before we were ever born? Every single day of our lives was written in His book before we ever lived them. It is a cause of rest to my heart to know that He has designed the details of my life. We can quit worrying and begin to rejoice that we are not in charge but He is. He has ordained great and grand purposes for us and through the power of His Spirit, enables us to fulfill them. He is the beginning and He is the end and everything in between. So, just give it all to Jesus. He is well capable of handling your life.

Leviticus 11:44 ‘I am the LORD your God!’
This great reality should be something we are constantly aware of. The knowledge that the Lord is there with us and for us, should be a living reality. He is our God, great and awesome, yet He is our good Father who cares for His children like nobody else does. You are not alone, therefore, rejoice and be secure. As He was with Moses, as He was with Joshua, He is with you too.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You are my Lord and my God. May I be conscious of Your presence in my life today and every day. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

The fear of being different or disagreeable starts early in childhood and doesn’t leave you even when you reach adulthood. Peer pressure. It happens, not just in schools, but around the lunch table with colleagues or friends, during adult conversations when you don’t want to admit who you really are or what you truly believe. Do you need to go against the majority today on some issues that you’re facing? Stand your ground. If you are too weak for that, pray that God will give you convictions so that you can stand firm.
The fear of man brings a snare, but he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted. (Proverbs 29: 25)
