Put your hope in the LORD. Travel steadily along His path. He will honour you by giving you the land. Psalm 37:34
Impatience can cause great problems. If we try to force things or speed things up, things often go wrong. Look what Abraham did: He buckled to Sarah’s pressure and had a child through Hagar, when God had already promised to bless him with descendants as numerous as the stars. Don’t become impatient with God. Keep on trusting Him. And ‘in due season’ you will see God’s promise being fulfilled.
PRAYER: Lord, I will wait for Your perfect time. You will keep Your promise as You are faithful. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and brought us to the kingdom of His beloved Son. Colossians 1:13
Jesus RESCUED me. Undeserving me. He rescued. From what? The dominion of darkness, where I was oppressed and bound with no hope, and brought me into the Kingdom of His Son – the kingdom of light. Praise His Name! We have been rescued! Hallelujah!
Lord, may I surrender my entire life to you, my Rock and my Redeemer. Empower me by your Spirit to live a life “worthy” of You and “pleasing” to you in every way. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
“I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul.” (1 Samuel 27:1). This is how David lamented when Saul was hunting him down. He fled to Israel’s enemies thinking he would be safe there as Saul was too afraid to attack them. David acted in panic and this led him to deeper trouble which could have been easily avoided if he had trusted in the Lord. This is a lesson for us. Never panic, if we make the Lord our stronghold and take refuge in Him, He will be faithful to protect and rescue us and will see us through any trouble however insurmountable it may seem.
‘He will sustain you to the end…’ 1 Corinthians 1:8
The Lord is the sustainer of your life. He will carry you and give you the support that you need. He does not help us the one day and then abandon us the next day. His sustaining power will be there to carry you every day until the end.
PRAYER: Lord, I declare that You are the One who sustains me. I will rest in Your power and ability to carry me, both now and forever more. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
One of the names of our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. God heals because He is The Healer—and because He loves you. He created you for His infinite love. In Jeremiah 30:17, God says, “I will restore you to health and heal your wounds.” Jesus dedicated much of His ministry to healing the sick. David wrote in Psalm 103: “Praise the Lord, O my soul…who forgives all your sins, and heals all your diseases…” He not only heals our bodies but He heals our emotions, our souls and our broken hearts. Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. If you need healing today, you can go to Jesus. He was wounded and bruised just to heal you.
‘Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.’
No matter what we face in life, the Lord undertakes to guide us through it all. His leading and guiding hand is always there to gently show us the way to go. He will never leave us even if we feel abandoned. He’s always there and He will hold us fast, even when things seem to fall apart.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your guiding hand in my life. I surrender myself into Your completely trustworthy hands. Hold me and lead me I pray. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
“In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:14). Redemption simply means “set free.” We have been set free by precious blood of Jesus Christ. We have the right to stand against every accusation and say, “I don’t believe that, devil. You’ve accused me for the last time. My Bible says I’m redeemed because I believe in what Jesus did for me on the cross. I confess my sins to Him and I am redeemed — free!”
Declaration: “By my faith in the blood of Jesus, I receive the righteousness of Christ. He has made me fit and qualified to worship and serve my Lord!”
NO SITUATION IS BEYOND THE REACH OF GOD. Nothing is too hard for God. Jeremiah 32:27 In some cases it may even feel as though God has left you or forgotten about you. The truth of the matter is that God loves you and He has not and will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15 Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! Never limit God! He is able to reach into your situation and bring about change. We must live with expectant hearts. No matter how difficult and complicated your situation may be, God is able to turn things around. With God in the equation everything becomes subject to change. God is the God of the impossible!
Ephesians 3:17’Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.’
– As we trust and have faith in the Lord, our relationship with Him is strengthened.
– In the process our roots can grow down deep into His love.
– This will anchor our lives and keep us secure and strong.
– May you know His love and His strength, today and always!
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I declare that my trust and my hope is in You. I ask that You would come and cause my roots to grow down deep into Your love and that I will stand strong because You are my foundation. Amen.
Moses was almost 80 years old when the Lord met him at the burning bush. Moses left Egypt when he was 40. Imagine that, he might have forgotten his life in Egypt, his calling, his people! But God had not forgotten him. God had not forgotten His people either.
Today, are you in a place where you have forgotten your calling? Maybe, you think God has forgotten the promises He’s made to you. Never, He will meet you where you are right now. He’ll lead you safely to the place He’s prepared for you. Don’t be discouraged. His promises never fail. He will fulfill His plan for your life.
“Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.” Exodus 23:20
