Faith is an essential element of our lives. We need faith as we face the different seasons and the change that they bring. But in all this we can expect and believe God for a breakthrough.
Hebrews 11:1 What is faith? It is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see. We need to be full of faith and expectation that at any time God could come through for us and that as a result we will experience a breakthrough! The people in the Bible who God used, were known for their faith and expectation in God. Hebrews 11:2 says, Men of God in days of old were known for their faith. Let us be people of faith and expect great things from God.
Psalm 139:16 ‘Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be.’How precious it is to know that every day the Lord gives us, is a day He planned for us. His word tells us that He has a book and each day of our lives is written in this book. Each day is a specific gift from Him and He determines how many days we get. We should make the best use of each day and serve Him faithfully.PRAYER: Lord, thank You for today and all the blessing and opportunities that come with it. May my life be found to be fruitful as I take each day and enjoy what You have ordained for me! In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Isaiah 43:18 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing.
We can get a fresh start anytime we want. That’s what is so great about God! It doesn’t matter where we are or what we’ve done; a new beginning can happen right now.
The first step is to get right with God. Confess your sins and ask Jesus to forgive them. Starting with a clean slate means “forgetting the former things.” Then ask the Holy Spirit to come into your life and change you from inside and give you the power to overcome sin. Then, read the Bible and pray every day. You will begin to see a change in your life. A fresh start is waiting for those who want it today.
‘Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ.’
– We should always remember that as children of God we are citizens of heaven.
– We are His representatives and His ambassadors here on earth.
– How we live our lives is of great importance, because He has work for us to do.
– Let us live lives that honour the Lord so that others can be touched in the process.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You that I can be a ‘Citizen of Heaven’ and a representative for You. Use my life in such a way that I will be a part of expanding Your Kingdom here on earth and may my life bring glory and praise to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Jesus said, “Blessed are the merciful.”
“The Merciful” are those who feel the pain of others and do something about it. God is merciful to us. In spite of all our failures and shortcomings He is still provides for our needs, still forgives us and still loves us. Are we moved by the suffering of others to point of helping them, reaching out to them, being there for them? Or are we apathetic, critical and harsh? Jesus categorically states, “Only those who merciful will receive mercy.” If we haven’t been merciful, we will not receive mercy. There will always be a time when we need God’s help and mercy.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, teach us to be tender and merciful towards others. Remove my stony heart and give me a heart of flesh. Amen
Sometimes no isn’t personal,
it’s spiritual and has nothing to do with you. Let people journey through life and do them, without taking their no personal.
Intuition is like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets.
Be sober and vigilant; your enemy, the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8
In dealing with this enemy, God’s children must be alert. We need to put on the whole armour of God,” and thus we can “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might” (Eph. 6:10-11).
The good news is that satan is a defeated foe. We are protected by the blood of Jesus, prayer, and the Word of God. We need not fear this roaring lion. We are “kept by the power of God” (1 Peter 1:5). James 4:7 assures us: “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
Confession: He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world.
There are many right now, who are facing certain challenges that threaten their sanity and stability, many who have lost jobs, resulting in losing their homes, and still for many, in losing loved ones and those plagued by illnesses. However, there are many whose challenges may not be as big, but could be equally debilitating.
God sees and knows what we are going through. He wants to remind us that in whatever situation, He is there.. Every impossible situation is a perfect opportunity for Him to display His power and magnify Himself. So, instead of getting frantic, trying this or that…simply, stand back, and trust Him to show you what He’s got!!
He says, “Be still and know that I am God…” – Psalm 46:10
