Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
I have lived in Russia. Snow is just a way of life there – lots of it – everywhere! There is a beauty that envelops a city when a few inches of snow falls through the night. And it doesn’t matter what the landscape looked like the day before. A snow-blanketed slushy road or trash heap looks as beautiful as rolling hills or pine forests because all you can see now is the snow.
The same is true for the slush and mire that is our lives. The mess we’ve made of things becomes clean and beautiful when it is covered by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, as we come to Calvary. What was visible the day before is now forgotten as our once scarlet sins are made white as snow.

Jesus said, “I am the Way-no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.“ Acts 4:12
Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, My Father will give you whatever you ask in My name. Until now you have not asked for anything. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” John 16:23-24
Miracles happen in Jesus’ name.
Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” The man got up and he walked. In Jesus’ name supernatural signs, wonders, healings, and miracles happen and satan trembles at the name of Jesus!
The bible says,“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,” Philippians 2:10

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
The cross is empty and so is the tomb. Jesus is alive!
What does Christ’s Death on the Cross and the Power of His Resurrection Offer?
-It provides a bridge, a way, to God
-It provides forgiveness of our sin.
-It provides freedom to all those who believe, freedom from the sin, shame, fear and worry.
-It provides new life. We have a whole new life and destiny through Christ. We are changed, from the inside. He renews our minds. He changes our hearts and desires. He gives us fresh purpose for each day

Maybe, today you have reached a breaking point. You feel like you are too far gone to receive help.
Perhaps you are too ashamed of your past to call on the name of Jesus and even if you did, you feel you are too dirty to be cleansed. I say to you this morning, that is completely, totally false. There is no soul that is too dirty to be cleansed by the blood of Christ. Jesus is waiting. There is hope for the helpless, rest for the weary, love for the brokenhearted. There is grace and forgiveness, mercy and healing at the cross. Jesus said, “Come to Me, you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Paul was a persecutor of the Christians. But when He met the Lord on the road to Damascus, His life turned upside down. He lived for Christ. What is the motivation behind His change? It was the love of Christ. Paul said, “Christ’s love compels us…He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again” (2 Cor. 5:14-15) Christ’s love is the greatest of all motivators. It causes those who follow Him to live for Him, not for themselves.
We love Christ too much to walk in hate, to use coarse language or to look into inappropriate magazines and so on. The love of Jesus restrains and constrains him to live in a way that pleases the Lord.

God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
The promise is that any and EVERY PERSON who “believes in” or “has trust and faith in” the Son of God will not perish, but will be given life everlasting. Our salvation, the free pardoning of our sin, and the promise of eternal life in Christ did not come without cost. Freedom is never free; it is always bought with blood. Jesus not only spoke of His love for us, “but God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Our salvation in Christ came at a great cost: God “gave His only begotten Son.”

He was despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. —Isaiah 53:3
Maybe, today you are mourning a loss- loss of a loved one or loss of something precious or a divorce. It has made you lonely. The world seems to be enjoying and having a good time… and nobody seems to understand. Don’t despair, child of God. Jesus understands. He is the Man of sorrows, Isaiah is talking about. He is with you in this. He has not left your side. He sees your tears and feels your pain. Lean on Him. He is ready to embrace you and comfort you. That is His promise.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Jesus died that we might live. Before Jesus came to earth, people throughout the ages looked for Him. They longed for the Lord to redeem their souls. Their sins were too heavy and they needed a redeemer, a saviour. We are so blessed to have knowledge that Jesus did come. All of our sins have been paid in full. It doesn’t matter the life we once lived. As long as we give ourselves over to God His mercy will be upon us. All our sins will be forgiven once we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Everything he did was for us. He is our true fiend. Seek Him in all that you do. Trust in Him. His hands are continually stretched out towards us. Come to Him! He is our only path to salvation. Only by following Him can we find true happiness.
He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Romans 4:25

God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
As we stand at the cross of Christ we see a glorious exhibition of God’s love. Paul wrote, “While we were powerless to help ourselves … Christ died for sinful men.” In human experience, it is a rare thing for one man to give his life for another, even if the latter be a good man, though there have been a few who have had the courage to do it. Yet the proof of God’s amazing love is this: that it was “while we were sinners Christ died for us.”
Prayer: It is beyond comprehension the love that took You to the cross for me. Humbly I praise and thank You, my Saviour and my Lord

All have sinned against God and fallen short…

All have sinned against God and fallen short of His standard. (Romans 3:23) We do not and cannot earn salvation by keeping the Old Testament Law or by simply being a good person. We will fail every time; it is in our nature to sin. It is only through God sacrificing His Son Jesus in our place, that we can acquire complete forgiveness. We can all attain this by accepting Jesus as our Saviour, and accepting that He shed His blood to atone for the sins of all who repent.
Regardless of what sins we have committed against God, He offers this gift to each of us. John 3:17 tells us that Jesus didn’t come to condemn us but to save us.
