‘Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.’” (John 17:17)Truth is not relative It doesn’t change with time or culture.  It follows then that none of us can define what sin is.  Your opinion and mine are irrelevant, because only God defines what sin is.   We don’t want to be legalistic, but if something is wrong, it’s wrong!  The bottom line is that to be a Christian, you can’t go with the flow. You have to go by the Word of God.  The Bible says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20) Let us forsake sin and follow the path of Jesus. If we repent, ( turn away from sin) He’s faithfulness to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3). Money can’t buy it. Man’s righteousness can’t earn it. Social prestige can’t help you acquire it. Morality can’t purchase it. It is, as Isaiah said, “without money and without price. . He holds in His omnipotent hand the priceless, precious, eternal gift of salvation, and He bids you to take it without money and without price. The best things in life are free, are they not? The air we breathe is not sold by the cubic foot. The water which flows crystal clear from the mountain stream is free for the taking. Love is free, faith is free, hope is free.
Do you need to give or recommit your life to Christ? Do it today.

“Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have purposed to make my steps stumble. The proud have hidden a snare for me … they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set traps for me.” (Psalm 140:4-5). The enemy is absolutely determined to overthrow every believer who walks in holiness and complete devotion to Jesus Christ. While it is true that satan has an army of some of the craftiest, skilled fowlers on earth, the good news is that none of his attacks will succeed against the devoted child of God. No matter what your failure, your hardship or the trap, rest assured that God is on your side. Even when you’re weak, you can cry out to God and He will come and tear away the net.  Just stand still and see His salvation!

Praying people always get God’s attention! When Cornelius cried out to heaven, he “saw in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, ‘Cornelius!’” (Acts 10:3) “Send for Simon Peter … He will tell you what you must do” (10:5-6). What happened next, His household was saved. God works on all sides when His people get to praying earnestly. Cornelius was prayerful and generous to the poor. He spent time in the presence of the Lord and He gave him specific directions. Likewise, God will show you what is needed on your part and when you obey and pray, you will see revival in your home.

Scripture Reading:

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Psalm 118

When they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him. Luke 23:33 I am amazed at “the love that drew salvation’s plan,” “the grace that brought it down to man,” and “the mighty gulf that God did span!” My heart overflows with praise at the mercy, grace, and pardon I have received. For, at Calvary, my “burdened soul found liberty.”Today, remember that Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. And He died for your sins! Stop and think about what this means. Because of Jesus, you are forgiven and freed from the curse of sin and death. The enemy’s grip on you has been broken, and God wants to unleash His power in your life. Praise Him!

In Ephesians 2:1-10, Paul explains salvation. What happens when God saves: He brings us from death to life. Why does God save us: so that in the coming ages God could show us the immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. And How does God save us: For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Grace is an outpouring of good when only wrath is deserved. Grace is Jesus saving the undeserving.
God saves us by grace through faith. It’s a gift. All you must do is receive it. Have you put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
