“In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:14). Redemption simply means “set free.” We have been set free by precious blood of Jesus Christ. We have the right to stand against every accusation and say, “I don’t believe that, devil. You’ve accused me for the last time. My Bible says I’m redeemed because I believe in what Jesus did for me on the cross. I confess my sins to Him and I am redeemed — free!”
Declaration: “By my faith in the blood of Jesus, I receive the righteousness of Christ. He has made me fit and qualified to worship and serve my Lord!”
Ephesians 3:17’Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.’
– As we trust and have faith in the Lord, our relationship with Him is strengthened.
– In the process our roots can grow down deep into His love.
– This will anchor our lives and keep us secure and strong.
– May you know His love and His strength, today and always!
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I declare that my trust and my hope is in You. I ask that You would come and cause my roots to grow down deep into Your love and that I will stand strong because You are my foundation. Amen.
We all need to start each day with trust in the Lord and commit our way into His hands. Whatever confronts us this day, the Lord will take care of it.
Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. Psalm 90:14
He satisfies every need of ours, even the need of love. We are never empty-He fills our cup, never lonely-His loving presence is always with us, never in need- He will satisfy every need. Therefore my heart sings for joy and rejoices in the God of my salvation.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8
Christ died, not for people who look like they have it all together but for people who were, “powerless,” “ungodly,” and “sinners”
This truth is tremendously freeing. I don’t have to be wondering if God is going to abandon me because I failed Him. God already knows the worst about me – and He chose to love me! God’s love never fails– delight in that statement.
Very often I am asked, “What about all the good people in this world, will they go hell if they don’t accept Jesus?” The Bible clearly states: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
So then, who can go to heaven? Only perfect people can. The Bible says only the blood of Jesus makes us perfect. “For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy.” Hebrews 10:14 Yes, our goodness and all our righteous acts are not going to take us to heaven. We need a Saviour, and He is Christ Jesus our Lord.
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose. Philippians 2:12-13
God uses His heavenly resources to equip us to do His will. What hope and joy this brings! God Himself undertakes the task of shaping us into His servants provided we are willing to obey His instructions. The LORD will perfect that which concerns me.“ (Psalm 138:8)
Lord, Help me to obey You, walk me into every good work that is in Your will. I do not have what it takes to fulfill Your will for me. I often put my hope in vain places, please do in me only what You can do, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Jesus said , “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father EXCEPT through Me. John 14:6
When the disciple Thomas asked Jesus, how can we know the way to heaven, Jesus explicitly declared He is THE WAY, which means there is no other way. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
We cannot enter heaven just by doing good works because the Bible says, “all our righteous acts are like filthy rags” Isaiah 64:6. Good people do not enter heaven, only perfect people do, and only the blood of Jesus cleanses us and makes us perfect. Jesus purchased it for us not with silver or gold but by His blood. This salvation is a free gift to all mankind, receive it today!
